We are thrilled to announce that Xcede Group has relocated their Cape Town team to a dynamic co-working office space at Granger Bay. Situated a stone’s throw away from the V&A Waterfront, the office relocation signals a new era for Xcede Group’s Cape Town team.

Learn more about the move and the current opportunities open at Xcede Group’s new Cape Town HQ below.

Why Granger Bay?

After looking at close to 20 properties in Cape Town, Xcede Group’s Cape Town team settled on Granger Bay.

Speaking to Ryan Forbes, Xcede Group’s Regional Director based in Cape Town about the move, he notes:

“When we were considering potential locations for the new office, we gave careful thought to what the future of work should look like, as well as what type of physical environment would encourage teamwork, wellbeing, culture and ultimately performance”.

“We believe we have found that place in our new Granger Bay hub and we hope it will be a place that enhances the happiness, wellbeing, and positive mental health of our team.”

At Granger Bay, our team get to enjoy all the unique things Cape Town has to offer, from seaside air and paddle boarding to world-famous sunsets and breath-taking outdoor spaces to explore on your lunch break.

A Wellbeing Hub

Over the past year, the importance of promoting positive mental health and ensuring employees are not experiencing burn out as they have navigated working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a top priority for HR teams across the globe.

Speaking to Nicole Abernethy, our People & Performance Lead at Xcede Group in Cape Town, she notes:

“One of the other major draws we had to Granger Bay was its accessibility and the outdoor facilities just outside the office building.

When considering options for our new Cape Town HQ, we wanted somewhere which allowed our employees to collaborate creatively and improve their overall wellbeing at work by having access to stunning outdoor spaces for walks, cycles, or simply meeting their friends conveniently in a place with plenty of amenities.

Here, our staff can enjoy an array of outdoor activities – as well as a range of bars, restaurants and the like – right on their doorstep.”

New Neighbours

Another exciting aspect of our recent relocation has been meeting our new neighbours. With high-performing businesses setting up shop in the building, it is clear we have joined a thriving creative hub ripe for collaboration.

Ryan Forbes notes:

“We are in a collaborative working hub alongside brands mirroring Xcede Group’s practices – from renewable energy companies to cyber and software vendors. It is absolutely a hub that speaks to us as a global and growing business."
